We have been learning to write algorithms today for Daisy Dino. We have learned how to use the repeat command and also to use 'when' to make Daisy do something when we touch or shake the iPad. We have made Daisy jump, spin, shrink, grow and move. It has been good fun!

Writing an algorithm collaboratively |
Learning together |
I can use the 'when' command |
We can predict what will happen when we run the algorithm |
I am going to use repeat to make Daisy do something 5 times |
When I shake the iPad, Daisy moves and grows! |
I am thinking carefully about the algorithm I will write |
So am I! |
My algorithm will make Daisy reach the star |
I am testing my algorithm! |
What a brilliant class! You are working hard - keep it up!
ReplyDeleteHarry really enjoyed Daisy Dino - especially making her big and then small!
