Our fantastic fen walk

What a fantastic afternoon Class 2 have had down at the Fen! They have investigated, experimented, used lovely language, taken risks, worked together and had fun!

Enjoying a lovely walk
'It already feels like an adventure!'
What can I do on this fallen branch?
It's a great seat - it has a bit of bounce!
'Look at the bark on this tree! What does it feel like?'
Gathering fallen branches and twigs
Team work!
A great den!
Working collaboratively to gather wood
What kind of creature is this?
(I think it was a woodland centipede Rosie)

A group photo that teaches us ...
not all to sit down on a rotten branch at once - it might break!
An incredible den ...
made by a great team!

If you had walked home with us you would have learned that Class 2 had an 'awesome' time. They were still buzzing with excitement from the trip and would love to go again! I would like to thank Evergreen Boarding Kennels and Cattery for giving us permission to go exploring on their land.

A HUGE thanks too to our parent volunteers - we wouldn't have been able to do it without you!
