More incredible homework from class 2. What a lot of lovely learning!

 

Amazing learning at home!

Look at Class 2's amazing work from their learning @ home! My socks have completely blown off again! There is some incredible art work and sculptures inspired by Hockney and Goldsworthy and a fantastic book about trees with top trumps cards! There is a wonderful seasons wall hanging showing the changes in trees and some great use of natural materials. Can you spot the Goldsworthy ice sculpture, with the really icy one in the background? Incredible!

Our fantastic fen walk

What a fantastic afternoon Class 2 have had down at the Fen! They have investigated, experimented, used lovely language, taken risks, worked together and had fun!

If you had walked home with us you would have learned that Class 2 had an 'awesome' time. They were still buzzing with excitement from the trip and would love to go again! I would like to thank Evergreen Boarding Kennels and Cattery for giving us permission to go exploring on their land.

iPad art, in the style of Hockney

We have been creating our own art work on the ipad, using the Brushes app. Did you know that David Hockney creates some of his work in exactly the same way? 

We looked carefully at Hockney's work and it helped us to add detail to our own.
